Our top 5 things to do in 2023

2023 is officially upon us and we wanted to get you excited to book your first vacation of the year at Nora Hazel Point with a few of our favourite things to do in the British Virgin Islands.

Tour of North Sound, Virgin Gorda with Chillout Charters

We can charter you a boat (or 2) with Chillout Charters to take you on a very grand tour of the North Sound. We’ll zoom past Richard Branson’s Moskito Island, Leverick Bay and Prickly Pear before arriving at one of the hottest spots in the BVI, Saba Rock. Enjoy a delicious lunch, an obligatory photo with the British phone-box and a swing on the hammock. You could even treat yourself to a massage with Spa and Sparkle. We highly recommend taking a stab at e-foiling which is the latest craze to take the BVI by storm.

Then onto the Bitter End Yacht Club for a relaxing drink and to watch the yachting world go by before heading back to the estate with a sunset to die for.

Bonfire Bliss at Cane Garden Bay

Enjoy an evening on the beach with a bonfire, marshmallows and one of the best sunsets you’ll ever see at Cane Garden Bay. The team at Bonfire Bliss will set up a beautiful seating area and cosy fire for your friends and family to enjoy. Picture yourself sipping on a cold beer or frozen margarita and nibbling on roasted marshmallows in pure bliss.

Deep Sea Fishing with Salt Shaker, BVI

Salt Shaker BVI really know how to do a deep sea fishing trip. Our guests are scooped up from our private dock and whisked off to some of the top places in the BVI for fishing. Depending on the season, expect to catch some impressive catch including Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo & King Mackeral.  From fishing to snorkelling to island hopping and lunch stopping, it’s the perfect day out with friends and family.

Private Chef’s

When you’re on vacation, you don’t always want to cook, especially when you’re with a big group. Outside of enjoying the fine dining and beachside eats dotted around the BVI, we can offer our guests a private chef for a truly delightful culinary experience. Whether you fancy a pizza night or a gourmet 5-course dinner, our selection of private chefs never disappoint.

The Baths

Have you even visited the BVI if you don’t go to The Baths? The Baths are an iconic part of the British Virgin Islands and a natural wonder to explore.  With Nora Hazel point you have the added luxury of arriving by sea so you can dive in the luscious crystal waters and swim to shore and navigate your way through the natural beauty of the caves.

BVI TIPS: Make sure you pack a waterproof bag if you want to take any belongings as there is a chance of them getting wet. Our concierge team will also advise on when the best time to visit to avoid busy and crowded periods. From our experiences, it’s far better to enjoy when you have the place nearly to yourself.
