The Estate
What is Nora Hazel Point?
Nora Hazel Point is a private luxury estate on the cliffs of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Set on 40 acres of tropical land with panoramic views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, the estate comprises two rental villas — Nora Hazel House and Osprey House — that can be booked separately or together to accommodate up to 22 guests.
Where exactly is Nora Hazel Point located?
Nora Hazel Point sits on cliffs on the south side of Tortola, the main island of the British Virgin Islands. It offers elevated views over the Sir Francis Drake Channel, looking out toward the surrounding BVI archipelago. The estate is approximately 20 minutes from Beef Island International Airport (EIS), and 15 minutes from Road Town.
How many guests can the estate accommodate?
The two villas combined can sleep a maximum of 22 guests. Nora Hazel House sleeps up to 12 in 6 king en-suite bedrooms. Osprey House sleeps up to 10 across 3 sea-view bedrooms and 1 bunk room. Each villa can also be rented independently.
The Villas
What is the difference between Nora Hazel House and Osprey House?
Nora Hazel House is the larger of the two, with 6 king bedrooms all en-suite with sea views, a solar-heated infinity pool, alfresco dining, and a library. It is ideally positioned for BVI sunrise views.
Osprey House is a 4-bedroom villa perched right on the cliff's edge, offering 270° views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, a private solar-heated infinity pool, games room, and indoor/outdoor living via roll-back glass doors.
Can I rent just one villa, or do I have to book the whole estate?
Both villas are available to rent independently. You can book Nora Hazel House, Osprey House, or both together. When both villas are booked together, a 10% discount applies to the total rate in high and low seasons.
Do the villas have air conditioning?
Yes. All bedrooms in both villas are air-conditioned. Ceiling fans and outdoor areas benefit from the natural Caribbean trade winds.
Rates & What's Included
What are the nightly rates at Nora Hazel Point?
Rates are charged per villa per night. High season (November–May) is $4,500 per night. Low season (June–October) is $3,500 per night. The Christmas and New Year period is $6,500 per night with a 7-night minimum for one week or 10 nights for both.
A 4-night minimum stay applies in high and low seasons. A 25% government accommodation tax and service fee is payable in advance. All-inclusive packages are available on request.
What is included in the base rate?
The rate includes accommodation, onsite concierge, daily housekeeping, welcome amenities, house managers and staff, and a provisioning service (guests cover the cost of food). Food and beverage, private chef, airport transfers, excursions, yacht charters, and car rental are not included but can be arranged through the concierge team.
Is there an all-inclusive option?
Yes. All-inclusive packages are available on request and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner provisioning tailored to your preferences, house wines, a standard bar (beers, spirits, soft drinks), a private chef for lunch and dinner, and airport transfers.
Services & Activities
Is a private chef available?
Yes. Private chef services are available through the Nora Hazel concierge team. Options range from a few nights of gourmet dining to full-stay chef services and interactive cooking classes. Chef services are not included in the base rate and are arranged on request.
What water activities are available?
The concierge team can arrange snorkelling, scuba diving (including the wreck of the RMS Rhone off Salt Island), private yacht charters to neighbouring islands, deep-sea fishing, swimming, and more. The estate has its own private dock for charter departures.
Can I arrange spa treatments at the villa?
Yes. In-villa spa packages are available through the concierge team, including private masseuse visits, signature spa treatments, and personal yoga classes — all in the comfort of your villa.
What onsite fitness facilities are available?
Nora Hazel Point has a private indoor/outdoor gym equipped with 2 treadmills, 2 Pelotons, a rower, ski erg, and strength training equipment. The outdoor area includes a cold plunge and outdoor shower with views over the Sir Francis Drake Channel. The estate also has 3 miles of scenic walking and hiking trails through the 40-acre grounds.
Getting Here
How do I get to Nora Hazel Point?
Fly into Beef Island International Airport (EIS) on Tortola, directly from Miami (MIA) or via connections from San Juan (SJU), St Thomas (STT), or other regional hubs. From the airport, it is approximately a 20-minute drive to the estate. The concierge team can arrange airport transfers on request.
Is Nora Hazel Point suitable for families with children?
Yes. The estate is well-suited to families with children of all ages. Both villas have generous outdoor spaces, pools, lawn games, nature trails, and plenty of room for everyone. The concierge team can tailor the experience for families, including child-friendly activities and meals.
