A low-lying coral island located north of Virgin Gorda is Anegada, one of the most unique places in the British Virgin Islands. Home to some of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see, a day trip to Anegada is a day out we always encourage our guests to take and it goes a little something like this.
The wonderful Tom from Chillout Charters collects our guests at the bottom of our estate where our private dock lies. The boat is filled with snacks and refreshments for the day ahead and off they go.
We take the scenic route to Anegada passing by Cooper Island, The Baths, Moskito Island, North Sound and Necker Island before we make headway to Anegada.
We arrive and moor up at Lobster Trap and order a drink whilst we wait for our taxi to take us to the Anegada Beach Club for a spot of lunch and cocktails. For all you lobster lovers out there, you can’t go to Anegada without enjoying a giant, fresh, Anegada lobster. We guarantee you won’t find a better tasting lobster anywhere in the world.
After enjoying a relaxing lunch, it’s time to cruise around on an island bar crawl on the Mini Mokes for a fun unforgettable adventure.
The first stop is Cow Wreck where you can sit and enjoy perfect crystal waters and sipping on their secret specialty drink which doesn’t actually have a name but is a perfectly blended ‘Lime and Coconut’ concoction. We then go to the Flamingo View Point followed Potters Bar and Sid’s to watch the beautiful BVI sunset before heading back to Lobster Trap and heading back to the estate cruising on the water saying goodbye to the warm beaming sun.
Anegada hold a special place in the hearts of those who live in the BVI and those who visit it and we can’t wait to organise a trip for you when you visit Nora Hazel Point.
